Better sleep starts with better breathing.
Home sleep apnea testing, medication to improve sleep apnea, and real CPAP troubleshooting support from a clinician who listens, all without leaving home.
CPAP isn’t for everybody.
Masks that won’t seal, noise, dry mouth, feeling closed in, travel. Many people can’t or won’t use CPAP every night, and that doesn’t mean you’re out of options.
We offer medication to improve sleep apnea
For adults with obesity and moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea, a once-weekly medication can reduce breathing pauses at night, either on its own or alongside PAP.
Tirzepatide (Zepbound) is the first medication FDA-approved to treat obstructive sleep apnea in adults with obesity. We prescribe it when it’s right for you, and we also offer compounded tirzepatide when clinically appropriate.
What studies found
In two year-long clinical trials, adults with obesity and moderate to severe sleep apnea who took tirzepatide had:
- About half as many breathing pauses per hour, or fewer
- Average weight loss of about 18% to 20%
- Benefits whether or not they were also using PAP
Results vary. Medication costs are separate from visit fees. About compounded tirzepatide

- Waking up tired even after a full night in bed
- Dozing off while reading, watching TV or driving
- Morning headaches or a dry mouth
- Getting up often at night to use the bathroom

About medication →The benefits of better sleep with PAP
PAP therapy keeps your airway open while you sleep. Used consistently, it can make a real difference day and night.
More alert days
Less daytime sleepiness is one of the best-proven benefits of PAP, often noticed within the first weeks.
Deeper, more refreshing sleep
Fewer breathing pauses means fewer awakenings, so sleep is less broken and you wake up feeling more rested.
Better mood and quality of life
People treated with PAP report better day-to-day functioning, and studies show fewer depressive symptoms.
Lower blood pressure
PAP modestly lowers blood pressure, with larger drops for some people whose blood pressure is hard to control.
Safer driving
Treating sleep apnea with PAP is linked to a lower risk of motor vehicle crashes.
Sharper focus
Better sleep can improve attention and concentration at work and at home.
Quieter nights for your partner
PAP keeps the airway open, which usually stops snoring and lets bed partners sleep better too.
More energy for healthy habits
When you’re less exhausted, it’s easier to stay active and keep up with the things you care about.
