Test for sleep apnea in your own bed
For many adults, an FDA-cleared home sleep apnea test is a simple, comfortable way to find out what’s happening while you sleep. No overnight stay in a sleep lab.
How home testing works
Visit by video
We review your symptoms and health history to see whether a home test is a good fit.
Test arrives
A small, easy-to-use, FDA-cleared device is sent to you with simple instructions.
Sleep as usual
Wear the sensors for a night at home. They track your breathing, oxygen level and heart rate.
Review results
We go over your results by video and, if you have sleep apnea, talk through treatment.
Is a home test right for me?
Home tests work best for adults whose symptoms point to moderate or severe obstructive sleep apnea. They aren’t the right choice for everyone. An in-lab sleep study may be better if you have:
- Significant heart or lung disease
- A neuromuscular condition or a history of stroke
- Long-term opioid use
- Possible sleep problems other than sleep apnea
- Severe insomnia
If a home test isn’t right for you, or if the results are unclear, we’ll help you arrange an in-lab sleep study.
What you’ll need
A night at home, your phone or computer for the video visits, and the intake questionnaire we send when you book.
What it costs
Your home test is included in our sleep evaluation package: $99 with insurance or $350 without. See pricing →
